The protective coating has multiple uses and may be utilized on various types of surfaces such as wood, paper, paint and metal. It has been used by Museum since the 1950’s in the conservation and restoration of artefacts and paintings.
It is a stable acrylic resin that will not yellow with time and which action can be reversed with acetone.
